Classic and vintage cars make 1,200km journey across China...

It is extremely rare to see an Aston Martin DB2 on the road. It's even rarer to see one on the road, in rural China, surrounded by a herd of goats.
Manufactured from 1950 to 1953 in Warwickshire, England, only 411 models were ever produced. Famed for its design and relatively advanced straight-6 racing engine, the DB2 can today fetch as high as $500,000 dollars at auction.
The DB2's visit to the Chinese countryside was part of October's Classic Car Challenge China (also known as 4C), an annual event that sees participants travel from Beijing to Shanghai on a 1,200km 10-day journey.CNN Photo CNN

VIDEO: LAST BRITISH IN GUANTANAMO RELASED

WATCH NOW

(CNN)For Shaker Aamer, the last British resident held in the American prison camp at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, it has been a long haul.
Bounty hunters captured Aamer in Afghanistan in 2001 and turned him over to the United States. He was cleared for release from Guantanamo in 2007. And on Friday, eight years later, he finally returned home to the UK, arriving around 1 p.m. local time (9 a.m. ET).
"The reason I have been strong is because of the support of people so strongly devoted to the truth," Aamer said in a statement Friday.
"If I was the fire to be lit to tell the truth, it was the people who protected the fire from the wind. My thanks go to Allah first, second to my wife, my family, to my kids and then to my lawyers who did everything they could to carry the word to the world," he said.

Male Orca flings seal into air

A stunning video shows how a male killer whale named T69C launched a harbor seal around 80 feet high into the air with just a flick of its tail. Experts said orca punting is rare. Generally, when orcas hit their prey, they do not eat them.

Video was captured by Mike Walker who was shooting for Eagle Wing Tours. He caught the footage on October 25 off the coast of Victoria, Canada. Brett Soberg, head of Eagle Wing, shared that they have captured many whale watching, but this one was quite different and rare.

Brett affirmed that it is the fourth time that he has seen an orca doing like this in around two decades. As per the information on the YouTube blurb, the orca called T69C was born in 1995 and is the only male member in its group.

Before flinging it out of the water, the orca was chasing the sea. Cetacean researcher Chris Parsons said that though orcas prey on seals, they do not eat them after hitting them. "But when they hit Dall's porpoises, they do it to eviscerate them. They hit them so hard that their entrails pop out, which they leave behind after eating the muscle and blubber", affirmed Parsons.

Great white sharks are considered to be the topmost predators of the sea. But the orca whale is quite powerful out of all and another interesting fact about them is they can be found in every ocean on earth.

Youngsters at risk of getting genital herpes from oral sex

The World Health Organization (WHO) for the first time provided estimate on the global prevalence of herpes virus. As per the WHO, two-thirds of the world’s population under the age group of 50 years has this highly infectious virus that leads to cold sores around the mouth.

A WHO study has unveiled that over 3.7 billion people under the age group of 50 years have the herpes simplex virus type 1 (HSV-1). And, 417 million people in the age group of 17 and 49 years have the other form of the disease, called HSV-2, which leads to genital herpes.
In the herpes simplex virus type 1 (HSV-1), a person can suffer from mouth ulcers. But with time, this type of infection is becoming a major reason for genital infection as well, especially in rich nations. Owing to improved hygiene level in affluent countries, HSV-1rate in childhood is on decline, leaving youngsters at increased of catching the virus due to oral sex.
HSV-2 can increase the risk of HIV. Sami Gottlieb, a WHO medical officer, said, “We really need to accelerate the development of vaccines against herpes simplex virus, and if a vaccine designed to prevent HSV-2 infection also prevented HSV-1, it would have far reaching benefits”.
Nathalie Broutet, also a WHO medical officer, said that the US National Institutes of Health and companies are carrying out trials to find out if a preventative vaccine can be preferred. Earlier, the trials were stopped after the product was found not effective.
